Ladies 8-Ball and Masters LTC Winners
It was a "Double-header LTC" recently at The Corner Pocket where two teams qualified for the Nationals in August.Congratulations to Ladies 8-Ball team "Wild Hares"! Captain Brenda Stevenson and teammates Randy Adams, Debbie Krieter, Wanda Howard, Jane Jones, Lisa Vanderbilt, Joelle Jones, and Stephanie McFarlin will be competing in the Ladies 8-Ball National Team Championship in just a few months. The Wild Hares beat the Cue Slingers in the finals of the LTC on June 14.
More congratulations go out to Masters team "Real McCoys"! Captain Dennis Jones and teammates Greg Dukelow, Troy McCoy, and Graham Hawkins earned a trip to Las Vegas to compete in the Masters Championship after beating "Can't Get There" in the finals of the LTC.Good luck to the Wild Hares and Real McCoys at the Nationals!
9-Ball LTC Winners
Congratulations to The Corner Pocket's 9-ball team "Fugazi," winners of the recent Local Team Championship held at Stix Billiards. Fugazi will be heading out to Las Vegas soon to compete in the 9-Ball National Team Championship. Captain Jeff Feldman and teammates Matt Jurkiewicz, James Milligan, Phillip Zapata, Frank Jacono, James Fischer, Patrick Robert, and Jim Millett took out team "Whodathunkit" in the finals to win the LTC title. Soon they'll be shooting for an even bigger title at the Nationals.
Way to go, Fugazi!
8-Ball LTC Winners
made it all the way to the top during the 8-Ball Local Team Championship held May 29 -31 at Side-Pocket Billiards. Both teams now get to try their luck in Las Vegas August 24 - 29 when they compete in the Nationals.Congratulations to both of our winnings teams:
Team Side-Pocket "Master 8'ers" – Captain Mike Cheer and teammates Karen Nixon, Chris Spires, Justin Logan, Leslie Johnson and Ed Hoffman surpassed Side-Pocket "Annihilators" in the finals.
Team CM's "Lethal Weapons" – Captain Mike Yingling and teammates Gary Vonderhaar, Vicki Farnum, Dan Harrison, Christi Atkinson, Rhys Lucero, Mark Gentry and T.J. Potts bested Side-Pocket "Eliminators" in the finals.
Both teams went to the fifth match in the finals, and both finished within 5 minutes of each other. How cool is that?
Good luck to the the Master 8'ers and Lethal Weapons in the Nationals!
