How Do The Players Feel About Our League?Pinellas County players know a good thing when they have it. A successful, challenging and fun APA league doesn't just run itself, and our players can often be heard expressing their appreciation for the time and energy that Carol and Mike Konak have put into the league throughout the years. Not long ago, two teams decided to go one step further and publicly acknowledge Carol and Mike's hard work by presenting them with a very special tribute: a plaque, given in appreciation for their tireless efforts and dedication to making the APA of Pinellas County such a great league. The plaque was presented by 8-ball team Side-Pocket "Vermicious Knids" and 9-ball team Time Out "Duke's." With Mike and Carol's names prominently displayed at the top, it reads: "In recognition of all the hard work you do, we would like to show our appreciation by presenting you with this token of our gratitude." Paul Perez, a member of both teams, sums it up: "They're always giving to the league, and we thought we should give something back. We wanted to show them that we do care and appreciate them more than they know." Web Site Comments or Concerns![]() Pool players are unique individuals. ![]() Your League Operators
Carol and Mike Konak acquired the Pinellas County league in May 2000 and immediately set out to accomplish one goal: provide their members with the best APA league experience possible. They especially enjoy meeting new APA members and watching them evolve into seasoned players.
"One of the greatest feelings we get is when we give players their first trophy or patch – it's fantastic. We can see the excitement in their faces and how proud they are of their accomplishments. We're grateful to be a part of that and look forward to many more years of wonderful experiences with the APA Pool League." |
